VTKEdge is a library of advanced visualization and data processing techniques that complement the Visualization Toolkit (VTK), as well as custom modules to allow the use of these techniques within ParaView. VTKEdge does not replace VTK, but rather is built alongside VTK to provide additional functionality. VTKEdge is available under the terms of the BSD License (link - see below). Kitware is actively working to transition VTKEdge functionality into the correct underlying project (VTK, ITK, ParaView) and time and funding allow. If there is particular functionality in VTKEdge that you would like to see moved, contact Kitware at kitware@kitware.com to discuss options for accelerating the transition.
